We tend to quote prices on a project-by-project basis due to the tailored nature of the service. If you would like a quotation for a projection mapped cake please get in touch using our contact form. Prices take into account venue location, level of personalisation, number of guests to feed etc. It is therefore very useful if you can provide as much detail as possible about your event.
Luma Bakery enjoys a successful working relationship with Gully’s Patisserie, headed up by Le Cordon Bleu London-trained patisserie chef and cake designer Gulgun Chakartash. We have a wealth of experience creating projection cakes together and can offer world-class baking cost-effectively as part of our service. We also offer a full dummy option.
We have bases in Essex (Chigwell) and Suffolk (Bury St Edmunds) and will travel across the UK and abroad. However, we will charge travel expenses for locations outside East Anglia.
Wedding shows and other exhibitions are a great opportunity to see our cakes in action. Keep an eye on our Facebook page to see details of our upcoming shows across London, Essex and Suffolk. We also periodically host showcase evenings where you will have a chance to speak to us and see a live example of one of our projection cakes. Please get in touch if you would like to attend one of these evenings. Private demonstrations of our cakes can be arranged for a fee.
Is a Projection Cake Right For My Event?
Our robust set-up has been designed to work for most venues. We will only provide cakes indoors and require a space of at least 3m x 2m, ideally against a wall. It is advantageous to be able to exclude any sources of light that compete with the projections e.g. turn off any direct artificial lighting and exclude natural light with curtains or blinds. White marquees and orangeries tend to be unsuitable for this reason. Please email email@example.com if you have concerns about the suitability of one of our cakes for your chosen venue.
